Urban Designer
Victor is an Urban Designer and Architect who has worked for over 10 years in the design of mixed use developments at a range of scales in The Netherlands and the UK.
He brings to Prior + Partners his conceptual design skills and his valuable experience in developing mix use masterplans, architectural and landscape design projects from strategic to conceptual framework masterplan with clear understanding on the delivery approaches needed for implementation.
In addition, Victor has experience in complex community and stakeholder engagement and in dealing with multiple-consulting groups.
Euston Station, London
Among different streams of work, Victor led a series of design workshops with the client team aimed at progressing design ideas as well as reinvigorating the strategic vision of Euston Station as a place on this redevelopment masterplan led by Prior+Partners.
Google Moffett Park, Sunnyvale, USA
Victor has been involved in developing design proposals aimed to refine our masterplan for Google’s innovative and ambitious mixed-use community in Sunnyvale Victor has led different streams of work from design concept on character areas and public realm to site capacity studies and design principles for innovative office space building typologies.
Heathrow Expansion Plan, London
Victor played a key role on Grimshaw’s team and their transformative designed masterplan proposal for Heathrow Airport. As a senior urban designer, his focus was on the integration of the proposal’s requirements with the needs of local communities in the immediate surroundings. While working on this project, Victor was instrumental in coordinating efforts to have meaningful community engagement.
HS2 Old Oak Common Masterplan, London
While working at Weston Williamson Victor was involved in developing masterplan feasibility studies of some of the infrastructure components around the new HS2 Station aimed to tie together the long term ambitions and development opportunities.
Earls Court Masterplan, London
Farrells’ masterplan to redevelop the entire area around the Exhibition Centre in Earls Court. These studies range from public realm design and its interface with infrastructure optioneering to detailed density studies related to building typologies adequate for West London. Victor’s role in this project also included coordinating the different workstreams of subconsultants and their interface with masterplanning.
Urban Metabolism, Rotterdam, Netherlands
.FABRIC led this research project that exposes the new and unexpected relationships within the Rotterdam region offering urgent and relevant challenges and opportunities. Victor contributed on the Re-industralisation subchapter, as well as being conducive on the graphical representation of the different urban flows.
