Understanding what it takes to bring a concept to reality, he has driven a range of complex mixed-use developments within multidisciplinary teams taking projects from concept to outline planning approval. He is adept at coordinating detailed designs from numerous architects, celebrating individuality and also protecting the masterplan vision.

Euston HS2 Station, London
With the redevelopment and regeneration of this central London site, P+P led the masterplan design team that supported the successful bid by Lendlease. We are now helping to develop a masterplan for, and subsequently deliver, a 54-hectare site above and around the new station
University College London (UCL) East, London
This 5.6 hectare site in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will provide UCL with new academic, research and living space set in an inviting public realm. Sammas coordinated a multidisciplinary design team to develop the vision and concept for the masterplan plus design codes and the design and access statement.
Flint Glass Wharf, London
Part of Charlton Riverside, Flint Glass Wharf is a mixed use scheme that will deliver 535 new homes, combined with new workspace, retail and community spaces, and public realm. Sammas redesigned the Thames Path, introducing a variety of spaces and incorporating flood defence and accessibility requirements.
Wellcome Genome Campus, Cambridge
To guide the expansion of this world-renowned scientific research centre for the coming 25 years, Sammas helped create the vision along with the concept materplan and development framework.
This award-winning 120 hectare greenfield development for Cambridge University incorporates a broad mix of uses including homes, retail and leisure, research facilities and public space. Sammas was part of the core team that developed the design codes and coordinated the overall masterplan.
Msheireb, Doha, Qatar
With the vision of regenerating a 35 hectare site in central Doha this project was rooted in local tradition, culture and architectural heritage. Sammas was involved in preparing the first outline planning application and design codes ever submitted in Qatar and supported the client team throughout the detailed design stage.
