We are pleased to announce the promotion of Jack Schofield and Julie Willot to Associate Director, in recognition of their leadership within the practice.
Part of the Place Economics team, Jack focuses on economic and sectoral analysis to inform spatial and investment decisions. He specialises in identifying priority growth sectors and assessing employment trajectories to advise on land use requirements and to develop economic strategies for large-scale masterplans and infrastructure programmes across the globe. This includes work to revitalise the industrial area of Musaffah in Abu Dhabi, and projects in the UK, Saudi Arabia and North Africa.
Jack also brings extensive experience in preparing economic impact assessments and HM Treasury Green Book-compliant business cases, including the recent economic and social impact assessment of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and through supporting in the development of a business case and an on-going evaluation of Centrepoint’s Independent Living Programme, a model for addressing youth homelessness.
With her architectural background, Julie is a Design Project Manager with experience in masterplanning and public realm projects in the UK and internationally. She is currently coordinating the design for a landmark UAE coastal destination that envisions a self-sustaining, world-class city, and played a similar role on Prior + Partners’ extensive programme of work in AlUla, Saudi Arabia, including the Cultural Oasis District public realm and Wadi AlFann masterplan.
Before joining Prior + Partners, Julie led design coordination and contributed to stakeholder engagement on major UK infrastructure programmes including Euston Station Public Realm for HS2 and the Heathrow Expansion Programme, supporting large consultant teams and client groups in highly complex delivery environments. Her strength lies in bringing clarity and coordination to complex, multi-stakeholder projects, combining a collaborative and people-focused project management approach and ensuring design intent is maintained from concept through to delivery.
