Prior + Partners’ Place Economics Director, Patrick Gulliver, will join a panel at this year’s London Gatwick Economic Summit, which brings together key regional stakeholders to discuss sustainable economic growth and future inward investment opportunities.

Now in its fourth year, the Summit provides a forum for shaping the region’s future, with this year’s theme, “A New Era – Regional Growth Powered by London Gatwick,” highlighting industrial strategy growth sectors, international transport gateway infrastructure, and devolution within the Airport Economic Zone.

Drawing on Prior + Partners’ Place Economics expertise, Patrick will contribute to the panel discussing ‘Infrastructure for Impact: Unlocking Economic Growth Through International Transport Gateway Assets’. The practice’s approach places economics at the heart of planning and placemaking, integrating strategy, forecasting, and appraisal with spatial design to demonstrate how transport gateways like Gatwick can drive trade, attract investment, and catalyse regional growth.

Relevant recent work by Prior + Partners include developing a long-term growth vision for Greater Cambridge for the Cambridge Growth Company, defining the strategic vision for East West Rail for the East West Rail Company, and guiding the economic and spatial strategy for the London Luton Airport corridor, supporting 8,000–18,000 new jobs across advanced manufacturing, aviation services, logistics, and knowledge-based sectors.

Chaired by investment expert and Real FDI editor Courtney Fingar, Patrick will speak alongside Michelle Gardner, Deputy Director of Policy for Logistics UK; Stephanie Wear, Chief Commercial Officer at Edinburgh Airport; Steven Lynch MBE, Director for International Trade at the British Chambers of Commerce and Tom Willis, Shoreham Port CEO.

The London Gatwick Economic Summit 2025 takes place on 12 November 2025, from 09:30–16:00 at London Gatwick, South Terminal.
