Prior + Partners has been named Urban Planning Company of the Year at the Middle East Consultant Awards, held tonight at the Ritz-Carlton in Dubai.

Members of Prior + Partners’ team attended the ceremony, with the award highlighting the practice’s growing role in shaping the Middle East’s urban landscape through evidence-based, forward-looking planning. In a sector often defined by long-established consultancies, Prior + Partners has quickly gained recognition for an approach that combines strategic foresight with practical, deliverable solutions.

A core aspect of our work is an integrated, multidisciplinary model. Planners, designers, economists, and spatial scientists collaborate from the outset of each project, ensuring that economic, environmental, social, and political considerations are evaluated together. This approach supports the creation of long-term, resilient, and implementable urban plans.

The recognition follows a period of international momentum for the practice, including receiving the UK King’s Award for Enterprise in October 2024. The appointment of Amer Mneimneh as MENA Regional Director and the opening of a Dubai office in 2025 further strengthen Prior + Partners presence and support our expanding portfolio across the region.

The Middle East Consultant Awards celebrate excellence across project management, design, fit-out, infrastructure, architecture, and the wider built-environment consultancy sector. Entries are assessed by an independent panel of industry experts who are not commercially involved in the categories they review.
