Last week Prior + Partners hosted the launch event for the Strategic Planning Group’s report 'Planning Positively for the Future'

The event brought together leading voices from local authorities, central government, and the private sector – all with a shared commitment to delivering projects at a strategic scale.

Prior + Partners Director Shaun Andrews opened the evening, reflecting on the growing momentum behind the Strategic Planning Group and the collaborative ambition indicated in the report. He was joined by a panel of speakers, including Joanna Averley, Chief Planner and Head of Planning at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government; Catriona Riddell, Independent Consultant and Chair of the SPG; and Alexandra Notay, widely recognised for her leadership in housing and placemaking.

With the need for long-term, spatially coherent solutions to climate, housing, and infrastructure challenges, this report is a timely contribution to the national conversation of planning positively for the future.
