Calling experienced Urban Designers with an interest in housing and regeneration in the UK

Prior + Partners has immediate opportunities for urban designers from junior to associate level to take a leading role on UK focused housing and regeneration projects.  We are a team of urban designers, architects, planners and public realm specialists based in London – we integrate masterplanning and planning to unlock the potential of places and communities across the UK and internationally.

We are looking for experienced urban designers to join us who have a passion and commitment for the design and delivery of complex mixed-use developments, urban extensions and new communities, making them places that are as fit for the future as they are for today.   We are currently recruiting to help deliver our growing portfolio of work in the UK. We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate skills and experiences in the following core areas.

• Experience on UK ‘new communities’ housing-led and mixed use masterplanning projects;
• Experience of working on successful outline planning applications;
• Experience of working within project teams and working in multi-professional environments;
• An architectural background with RIBA Part 2 (and ideally a masters in urban design), or a landscape architecture background with relevant qualification;
• Excellent drawing and graphic presentation skills and the ability to explain design ideas and evolution of a concept;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent report writing abilities;
