As an Urban Designer at Prior + Partners, my primary interest lies in the transformative potential of urban design and placemaking. I have a diverse architectural background that is shaped by projects ranging from housing to educational facilities in India. My academic journey includes a Master’s in Housing and Urbanism from the Architectural Association, complemented by an exchange semester at ETH Zurich under the Chair for Territorial Planning — experiences that have expanded my ability to navigate the complexities of design across multiple scales. Whether working on compact residential units or broader urban frameworks, I strive to create cohesive, context-sensitive spaces that respond to both present needs and future possibilities.
Exposure to varied urban contexts around the world has been instrumental in shaping my perspective on how cities evolve over time. From the dense fabric of Indian cities to the structured urbanism of Europe, I’ve gained insights into how public spaces can foster community interaction and how architecture can serve as a catalyst for positive change. This understanding informs my work, enabling me to approach each project with a sensitivity to the social, cultural, and temporal dimensions of urban design.
Inspired by London’s dynamic public realm, I am particularly drawn to the potential of high-quality public spaces that enrich everyday life. I believe that thoughtful design can transform ordinary environments into compelling places of gathering, connection, and identity. At Prior + Partners, I aim to contribute to projects that are not only thoughtfully designed and functional, but also resonate with lasting meaning — enhancing the urban experience for all who engage with them.
