Panagiota Tsigkaropoulou

Senior Urban Designer

From the moment I stepped into the world of urban design, I knew I wanted to help shape communities. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across a diverse spectrum of residential-led projects, studies, and urban strategies, spanning everything from neighbourhood interventions to large-scale masterplans. Whether collaborating with local councils or private developers across the UK, my work has always been rooted in the belief that great places start with thoughtful design.

My role has evolved into that of a guide throughout the placemaking journey. I support design teams from the earliest stages of site analysis—reading the landscape, understanding the layers of context, and uncovering the site’s hidden potential—through to the crafting of urban design concepts, planning submissions, and the technical precision of design coding.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to creating places that don’t just function but thrive—places that are distinctive, responsive, and resilient, and that are for everyone. I’m particularly passionate about shaping strategies for multi-generational communities—where people of all ages can live, grow, and belong. I firmly believe that our future lies in carbon-zero thinking: designing for resilience, and ensuring our urban environments meet the challenges of both today and tomorrow.

Urban design, to me, is more than a profession—it’s a purpose. One that brings together creativity, responsibility, and the opportunity to create places that matter.
