My interests sit at the intersection of landscape urbanism, architectural design, cultural anthropology and political philosophy. Across both practice and research, my work involved a wide range of subjects, all driven by a commitment to understanding and ultimately actively shaping the formation of urban societies.

My professional profile has been shaped by my experience in London, Brussels, and Bucharest, working on projects ranging from territorial strategies and large-scale masterplans across Eastern and Western Europe, Oman, KSA, and the UAE, to architectural detailing and self-building practices research within Romania’s post-socialist context.

I began my career as an architect in Bucharest, later developing a strong foundation in urban and landscape design during my master’s studies and through extensive territorial surveys of the Flemish countryside. This work informed a series of urban and landscape regeneration projects across Antwerp, Brussels, Leuven, and Kortrijk. From 2022 until joining Prior + Partners, I worked as a project lead at Bjarke Ingels Group, overseeing several projects across the Middle East, including the concept masterplan for A’Thuraya City in Muscat, Oman.

Whether in the peri-urban landscapes of Bucharest, the complex conditions of Muscat and Riyadh or the rural urbanity of Flanders, my core areas of expertise have been shaped by the contrasts between these diverse contexts and by a focus on the role of landscape and ecosystems in fostering future resilient communities.
