I’ve always been drawn to people and places, and how the two shape one another. Growing up in the Netherlands, creativity and social awareness were part of everyday life, my father worked as a landscape architect and designer, and my mum in social work. That mix of design thinking and human understanding has stayed with me ever since.
I studied Applied Psychology and started out in mental health roles in the Netherlands, which still influence how I think about people, behaviour and the environments they’re part of. When I relocated to the UK, I moved into HR and built my career there, finding a natural fit in shaping cultures, supporting people, and helping organisations evolve in a thoughtful way.
I’m particularly interested in how culture, structure and wellbeing come together to create resilient, creative workplaces , something I’m really enjoying being part of at Prior + Partners.
Outside of work, life is full (and loud) in the best way. We’re a very football-mad family, often found on the sidelines cheering on my five-year-old, and at home with two young boys and Frank, our English bulldog, keeping things lively. I’m also a real foodie, I love cooking and baking, and I’m currently in the middle of an ongoing home interiors project. Swimming, cycling and being outdoors are my go-tos too… probably the Dutch in me.
