Having grown up in the countryside, cities and towns have always excited me. I was fascinated with the tall buildings which were rapidly changing the skyline in London whilst I was deciding what career to pursue, which led to me initially exploring architecture and then discovering town planning.
I have worked as a town planning consultant in the private sector for 8 years and am experienced at site promotion, managing planning applications through the planning process, and advising on post-permission matters through to delivery, including optimising planning permissions. I have worked across a range of sectors including residential, purpose-built student accommodation, hospitality and commercial, predominantly across London and the wider South East.
It is a great feeling being part of a team that is unified in trying to improve the places we live, delivering more of the things we need, and then finally seeing projects delivered and the positive impact they have.
