Current roles we’re looking for are:

 

Landscape Architect (10 Years Experience) -AlUla/London

 

We are looking for a passionate, creative and motivated Landscape Architect with a minimum of 10 years experience to help shape our landscape design offer and take a lead role in the delivery of our work in AlUla in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

AlUla is unique in the world and features a spectacularly beautiful cultural landscape, oases, desert plains, canyons and fascinating heritage and archaeological sites. We are looking for someone willing to be deployed for the next 12 months between AlUla and London to work with renowned landscape architects, planners, architects and heritage experts.

 

About you:

 

You will need a good appreciation of design, organisation, communication and interpersonal skills, confidence in presentations and workshop environments, and demonstrable experience in leading and co-ordinating teams of designers, planners and sub consultants.

You will be an integral member of the studio team based out of London and AlUla. You will be required to work on a range of projects from Regional Scale strategies, Masterplans and plot level implementation projects.  The position would require you to:

·manage a variety of projects with a significant part of this time based in KSA, on the ground in AlUla

·undertake and assist design and design development of projects, working in collaboration with our subconsultant teams – both on site and in studio

·work at a range of scales, from strategic level planning design, master planning, and project level designs – public plazas, town squares and streets, museums, resorts, galleries, hotels

·develop planning and design principles into design briefs for agreement with the client

·client presentations and workshops

·manage and coordinate sub-consultants across a range of tasks and programmes

·manage and co-ordinate in-house designers and planning teams

·a clear understanding of design processes as outlined in RIBA

·be hands-on, including design, management, and client liaison

·train/mentor/develop other team members

Position role:

 

You will primarily lead and assist with the development of design, through both documentation and the coordination and management of sub-consultants. You will have some or all of the following attributes:

·qualifications in landscape architecture

·well-developed technical skills in regards to design and construction techniques and programs in the context of public realm design and implementation

·in excess of 10 years’ experience working as a landscape architect

·Middle East and the Gulf Region experience and understanding, preferably including work in the KSA

·proven experience in project management from proposal through design to construction/commission completion

·client communication and management skills

·design, drawing and communication skills

·an informed understanding of cultural heritage

·experience in project evolution from concept design through design development and production of guidelines

·proven experience working successfully in a collaborative team environment

·the ability to prioritise multiple projects and deadlines, determine additional staffing needs to complete workload and the ability to manage project involvement within budgets and time parameters

·the ability to critically review their own work to achieve exceptional outcomes

·business development experience

·experience of delivery on the ground

·chartered member of landscape institute or equivalent if an international candidate

Planning Associate / Associate Director-London

 

We are looking for experienced planners to join us who have a passion and commitment for our cities, towns, and neighbourhoods, and making them places that are as fit for the future, as they are for today.

We would like to hear from you if you could help us develop our UK planning consultancy with a focus on the development sector.

Candidates should be chartered members of the RTPI, RICS P+D, or other relevant bodes.

Key skills are expected to include:

·Building existing client relationships and generating new business. This will include a proven ability to          present and communicate at senior levels and across a range of stakeholders.

·Outstanding project management skills with proven ability to lead and manage a range of planning projects and tender response processes.

·Leading strategic planning research and policy development including assessments of development potential

·Exemplary planning skills including a deep understanding of the site promotion, application preparation and consent process.

·Building the planning team and motivating, developing, and managing their performance

All candidates should have excellent written, graphical and verbal communications skills with an active interest in UK planning issues, urban design, city development and urban resilience.

Midweight Graphic Designer


Prior + Partners are looking to grow their graphic design team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of this new team and help shape their development.

 

This position would suit a midweight graphic designer looking to be part of an ambitious team. A collaborative approach is a must, both within the dedicated graphics team, as well as when providing support for the urban
design/ masterplanning teams with the production of presentations, reports, illustrations, exhibitions, etc.


The role would be full time with a hybrid working pattern. 


Responsibilities
• Work alongside the urban design/ masterplanning team supporting the creative and artwork process across a wide variety of both digital and print-based projects and outputs
• Design graphic identities for projects, this includes setting up and maintaining clear and user-friendly project templates
• Create presentations, reports, bid documents and brochures (printed and digital outputs)
• Prepare graphic content for social media and the studio’s website
• Prepare artwork for print and liaise with printers
• Manage and maintain graphic resource library (icons, textures, brushes, illustrations, colour palettes etc.)

 

Skills
• We are looking for a team player who is highly motivated, pro-active and independent
• Develop a strong sense of ownership of your projects
• Clarity and consistency in thought and design, ability to communicate design concepts
• Highly creative with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask, manage expectations, and effectively meet deadlines
• Expert knowledge of the main Adobe Creative Suite programs, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and/or After Effects would be highly desirable as well as knowledge of Accessibility requirements in digital design

 

Qualifications/Experience
• At least three years work experience as graphic designer
• Experience of working within the built environment would be desirable
• Degree in Graphic Design, Architecture or equivalent

Urban designers should ideally have a degree in architecture with proven skills in communicating 2D and 3D urban design concepts. Expressions of interest from those with a masters in urban design will be welcome.

Planners should be chartered members or working towards accreditation of the RTPI, RICS P+D, RIBA, or other relevant bodies, and have excellent written, graphical and verbal communications skills.

P+P is also interested in hearing from individuals with the following specific interests, experience, and skills:

·Working with government, local authority, and developer clients to advise them on corporate strategy and planning; development strategy and procurement; business case development; and/or project vision, objective, and strategy development

·Internal management of project financial performance, including forecasting and resource planning in a consultancy environment

·Drafting and managing the production of new consultancy proposals alongside marketing and communications experience.
